In Markazi province, in the middle of the road from Delijan to Mahalat and near the village of Nimvar, there are remains of a fire temple belonging to the Sassanid period, which is known as Atashkuh fire temple.
The bases and columns of this mansion are made of rectangular cubes of stone. Although the capitals remain, the roof of this fire temple has crumbled.
A mountains, and village adjacent to this fire temple are all called Atashkuh.
To reach this fire temple, come to Mahalat road from Delijan city. After 15 km and before reaching the village of Nimvar, enter the side road that will take you to the historic fire temple of Atashkuh after a short time.
