4100 meter peak of Khashchal is one of the peaks of Middle Alborz mountain range. This mountain is located in Alamut region in Qazvin province and its ascent route is from Varbon village, which is located on the southern slope of Khashchal mount. The height of Varbon village is about 1900 meters above sea level. Therefore, the net height of the ascent to Khashchal peak is about 2200 meters.
A shelter built on the way to the summit of Khashchal is located at an altitude of 3300 meters above sea level.
The slopes of Khashchal mountain are very green and full of edible and medicinal plants. The nature around the village of Varbon is also very green and beautiful. A small lake called Lake Ovan is located near the village of Varbon on the southern slopes of Khashchal Mountain.
The access route to Varbon village is through Qazvin road to Moallem Kalayeh and before reaching Moallem Kalayeh, you should enter Zavardasht road, which finally reaches Varbon village next to the Lake Ovan.
