In the heart of the desert of the Upper Jargaviyeh region, 100 km southeast of Isfahan city, a spring boils and creates a large water intake in the heart of the desert lands. On top of the hill adjacent to this pond is a small historic four-arches mansion that is said to have been a Zoroastrian fire temple during Garshasb era in the pre-Islamic period.
Also one another building is near the fire temple, which is known as the footprint of Imam Reza.
The location of the spring of Dastjerd is between the two villages of Dastjerd and Hassan Abad in the Upper Jarghuyeh region of Isfahan province. The water of this spring has made the agricultural fields in this desert area green.
