Ghomishloo National Park is a large desert and semi-desert area in the northwest of Isfahan. It is located between Shahinshahr city and Tiran and Alavijeh towns.
This region is relatively dry and desert with scattered heights, the habitat of whole goats, rams, ewes and Iranian deer. In the southeastern part of Ghomishloo protected area, there is a large garden with a complex of old mansion, tower and castle. This complex have been built about 150 years ago during the reign of Massoud Mirza Zel-e-Sultan, for his resting place and for hunting in this area. .
There is also an aqueduct and pool in this garden. The lush and green area of this large garden is like a paradise in the dry environment of the region.
In a cycling program, we cycled from Isfahan to Ghomishloo region through the village of Jahad Abad (Chal Siah). Then we entered the eastern part of Ghomishloo protected area through a dirt road, and after a few kilometers we reached Ghomishloo garden and castle. Along the way we moved almost parallel to the high voltage power towers, which continues until about Tiran.
Another way to access this garden and castle is from Najafabad to Tiran road. This garden and castle is located seven kilometers north of Tiran.
