Iran was once at the top of the leading producers and exporters of hand-woven carpets in the world. Although today it may not have this position, but Iranian carpets still have the first place in the world in terms of quality, originality, design and pattern.
Meanwhile, Iranian carpet weavers, who live and work mainly in villages and small towns of Iran, are engaged in carpet weaving individually or collectively with their simple lifestyles and home workshops. It is especially interesting to visit these local artists while working and weaving carpets. Many of these carpet weavers are local women.
