Keredit waterfall is located along Beheshtabad river in Darkash Varkesh strait in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province and 15 kilometers from Ardal city. Daraksh Varkesh Strait is the name of a mountain gorge on the road from Shahrekord to Ardal. Near the end of Daraksh Varkesh Strait is a narrow path that goes down a steep slope.
After a few minutes of walking on this narrow path, a terrible waterfall appears at the end of the valley. This waterfall is known as Keredit Waterfall . From above, we take souvenir photos of this waterfall. Due to the steep slope, it was dangerous to continue down the valley.
The river in this strait is roaring and turbulent. This river joins Kaj river a little further to finally flow into Armand river (from Karun tributaries). This area is one of the hundreds of sources of the vast basin of Karun River.
