On the south side of Zardkooh mountain range, Bazoft river flows, while on the north side of this mountain range, Koohrang river flows. Koohrang is the name of a river that originates from the heights of Zardkooh mountain range and joins the Karun River in its natural course, but for many years, with the construction of two long tunnels, the water of this river has been transferred to the main tributary of Zayandeh Rud River in Chelgard town. These tunnels are known as Koohrang tunnels No. 1 and 2 and were created deep in the Karkonan mountain.
