Lahijan is one of the big cities in Gilan province and its people speak Gilaki language. The Sepid River flows west of Lahijan. Lahijan is located in the foothills and has a humid and rainy climate and is surrounded by forests around the city. Now the hills around the city are covered with green tea fields.
Lahijan is one of the most touristic northern regions of Iran due to its natural attractions. Among the natural attractions of Lahijan, we can mention Lahijan pool, Sheytan Kuh (Mountain Devil) and the Green Roof of Lahijan.
