Dorfak mountain is located at an altitude of 2733 meters above sea level in Gilan province. The northern and western slopes of Dorfak are covered with forests of Siahkal region and the southern and eastern slopes of this mountain are covered with beautiful plains and summers.
Dorfak Mountain is probably the only relatively high mountain on the top of which huts have been built and nomads live there in summer. A dirt road has been built from the summit to the foot of the mountain on the eastern front of the mountain, which is used for the passage of nomads.
