In the above of the vast area of Abbas Abad neighborhood in Tehran, Nowrooz Park, with an area of more than 90,000 square meters, is the largest park in this region. The international and cultural functions of Nowrooz Park are intended to introduce the rituals and traditions of E.C.O countries with the focus on the ritual and tradition of Nowrooz (The old persian ceremony on the first days of year).
Nowrooz Park is located on the south side of Hemmat Highway in the western part of Modares Highway and in the southern part of Ab-o-Atash Park and Tabiat Bridge.
Nowrooz Park has a large artificial lake and a large planetarium hall (Mina Dom) is located in this park too.
