The Zayandeh Rud River flows relatively slowly and does not have much turbulence. Only in some limited places, such as the Zamam Khan historical bridge, Zayandeh Rud experiences relative turbulence. For this reason, rafting on the Zayandeh Rud is generally considered a quiet boat ride that can be enjoyed while boating the scenery of the forest or possibly the fields and surrounding villages.
Rafting on the Zayandeh River is generally done between the villages above the Zamankhan Bridge.
