Nahavand is a historical city in the southwest of Hamadan province and has a beautiful and green nature. There are several springs called Sarab in the nature around Nahavand town.
Sarab Gamasiab is the most watery mirage of Nahavand, which is located 20 km south of this town. The water of this great spring, after irrigating agricultural lands and many gardens around Nahavand, finally forms the Gamasiab River, which is one of the main tributaries of the Karkheh River.
