Due to the beautiful and wonderful natural attractions in Shahdad desert, this desert has attracted many tourists.
Shahdad desert camp is located 20 km north of Shahdad town and adjacent to the Kalut range in the east of Shahdad town. Of course, to visit Kloutaks (small scattered Kluts) which is more attractive, you have to drive another 30 kilometers.
Shahdad desert camp has some pavilion. It is possible to walk around the camp with camels.
To reach Shahdad desert camp, you have to turn right when you reach Shafi Abad village on the road of Shahdad to Nehbandan, twenty kilometers after Shahdad. Then you must drive about ten kilometers to reach Shahdad desert camp after , which is located between two Kalut ridges.
