Susan-e Chelcheragh (Lilium ledebourii) flowers are a rare species of beautiful and captivating lily flowers that grow wildly only in limited parts of northern Iran. Near Damash village in Gilan province is one of the places where this lily flowers grow in a not so wide area. This area is fenced and has a guard to protect this rare flower well.
The flowering season of Susan-e Chelcheragh lily flowers is in the first half of June. These flowers shine in the dark of night and that is why they are called Chelcheragh (means chandelier).
