The historical castle of Googd is located in the Googd region near Golpayegan city. This castle was also known as Alikhani Castle.
This citadel is 400 years old and nothing was left of it except a ruin, but with the costly reconstruction that was done, this historical citadel with beauty and great size, has decorated this part of Golpayegan suburb.
The castle has a large and refined courtyard and many porches, corridors and rooms on two floors are beautifully located around this courtyard. The entrance of the porches and rooms is in the style of an arched architecture. The high walls of the castle and the towers that are in every corner can be seen with a beautiful view from inside the citadel courtyard.
You can go to the top of the citadel towers and look at the beautiful nature and the surrounding fields.
This castle is currently used as a hotel, restaurant and handicrafts exhibition.
