Atashgah village is located 40 km south of Lordegan in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. An asphalt road continues from Lordegan to Atashgah village, which passes through a winding mountain path through the oak forests of this area.
The people of Atashgah village are from Lor and Bakhtiari tribes. This village is located at the point of entry to visit the successive Atashgah waterfalls. For this reason, the villagers have some income through the cost of parking a car and renting room to tourists although it is not so much. Unfortunately deprivation in this village, like many other villages in this province, is evident. You can see village girls and women on the road carrying a pile of firewood to get to the village.
