Attractions of Tehran Province

Tehran province is located in central Iran and south of the central Alborz mountain range. The metropolis of Tehran, the capital of Iran, is the capital of Tehran province as well.
The natural attractions of Tehran province are located in Lavasanat and Oshun Fasham areas and also in Firoozkooh county. Most of Lar National Park attractions are located in Tehran province.
Damavand Mountain, the highest mountain in Iran with a height of 5610 meters is located in Tehran province and in the northeastern part of Lar National Park.
