Mashhad is the second largest city in Iran in terms of size and population. It is also the most touristic city in Iran. Of course, most of the tourists in this city are religious tourists who come to this city to visit the shrine of Imam Reza. Imam Reza is the eighth Imam of the Shiites. Shiites from other countries, such as Iraq and the Arab Gulf countries, are also among the foreign tourists in Mashhad.
Except for Muslims, it is not possible for other tourists to visit the shrine of Imam Reza.
In Mashhad, apart from the shrine of Imam Reza, Ferdowsi’s tomb can also be mentioned as the main attraction of this city.
