Dorfak mountain in Gilan province with an altitude of 2733 meters above sea level has the most beautiful ascent routes among the mountains of Iran.
The northern and western slopes of Dorfak are covered with forests of Siahkal region and the southern and eastern slopes of this mountain are covered with plains and beautiful summers.
To climb Dorfak, two routes can be used on the western and eastern fronts of this mountain.
To climb the eastern front of Dorfak, you have to go to the village of Shah Shahidan village, and then by crossing the beautiful plains of the region and crossing the Arbnab forest, you will reach a dirt road that will take you to Dorfak peak with its winding path. While climbing this route, you will see beautiful views of the plains and pastures.
