The old texture of Bushehr consists of a large number of old houses and narrow alleys in a part of the current city of Bushehr. This part of Bushehr city has a special charm and its architectural style is somewhat inspired by the Indian style. Materials for these buildings (such as sandalwood and teak) are said to have been imported from India and Africa.
Bushehr port, the capital of Bushehr Province is perhaps the most beautiful port on the southern coasts of Iran. This port is surrounded by the waters of the Persian Gulf on three sides like a small peninsula.
The old houses of Bushehr have a beautiful balcony with the local name Shenashil and it is a place to use the cool breeze outside in the evening and sunset. And you can see the sea view from these beautiful terraces.
The use of the roof for rest and sleep at night has been and is common in the old houses of Bushehr. The roofs were fenced all around.
In the old part of Bushehr, there are two mansions of the old churchs, called the Church of Gregory and the Church of the Advent of Jesus Christ, but the latter is abandoned and ruined.
