Ghamsar is a town in Kashan county, and is located 27 km south of Kashan city. Ghamsar is famous for its rose and the quality of its Mohammadi rose flower. Due to the suitable climate and soil in Ghamsar, its rose flowers are of high quality. Mohammadi rose flower extract or perfume is exported from Ghamsar to European countries.
In addition to roses, Jowzghand Ghamsar is also famous. Jowzghand is a type of sweet made from dried peaches stuffed with almond powder, cardamom, sugar and chickpea flour.
Ghamsar climate is relatively mild due to the relatively high altitude (from 1700 to 2000 meters abow sea level) and being surrounded by several mountains and the existence of gardens and trees and is considered the summer of Kashan residents.
