Mahalat city in Markazi Province is the center of cultivation and export of flowers and ornamental plants in the country and is called the Netherlands of Iran.
It is said that more than twenty million pieces of flowers and plants are exported annually from Mahalat to all parts of the country.
Mahallat village of flowers refers to a collection of greenhouses in the south of the city of Mahalat. This site every day is visited by tourists.
Every year in May and September, a nationwide exhibition of flowers and plants is held in Mahalat.
