Do Polan Bridge is located near Do Polan village in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, 100 km south of Shahrekord city.
Do Polan is famous for its old metal bridge, which was built on a deep valley. This bridge in the past was used by nomads as a part of the Bakhtiari road from the winter areas of Khuzestan to the summer areas of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.
A branch of the Karun River called the Armand River flows in a deep, narrow and beautiful valley under Do Polan old bridge. The view of the valley and the river from the top of this bridge is really spectacular.
For several years, this bridge has been the site of water and exciting sports such as bungee jumping, zip line and rafting (boating in turbulent waters). The height of the bridge to the water level below the valley is about 70 meters.
To access Do Plan from Shahrekord, you have to enter Shahrekord-Shalamzar road and continue road to Noghan town and then to Doplan village.
